Blaauwheim Guest House is a new exclusive establishment in Somerset West, run by co-owners Johan and Jo-Anne Blaauw. It consists of two luxurious suites, Pinotage and Chardonnay as well as a luxurious double bedroom called Shiraz . Each apartment comprises a lounge/dining room/kitchenette, a spacious bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a guest toilet and veranda or balcony. There is ample secure parking available within the premises. The lush, treed garden boasts indigenous yellowwood trees frequented by many birds and a substantial collection of cycads.
Blaauwheim Guesthouse is in the heart of the famous Cape Winelands, near the long sandy beaches of Strand and within easy reach of Hermanus, the whale watchers' paradise. Golfers are spoilt for choice with a selection of golf courses on our doorstep. Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in the country, is a mere 10 minutes away and Franschhoek will take another 15 minutes along a beautiful scenic route.
